John Park was born in Korea but grew up in Los Angeles since he moved to United States at the age of 11. As a child, he loved to observe and draw stuffs until his eyes go sore. He went to UCLA where he studied Visual communication/Media Design and made some jaw-droppingly meticulous work. But then discovered that he loved visual storytelling so he got into Art Center College of Design and became a filmmaker. He made a test commercial which everyone went on and on about and the rumor was spread to a Korean producer and then of course commercials came calling and he made about zillion
commercials and won lots of awards. Over the years his producer have learnt to be relaxed about the result because things have got to look right and John has a truly incredible eye for detail which comes across really nicely in his work.
